Who’s the fairest of them all? Neil, of course!

In an industry where starlets are trying everything in their books to become fairer, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh faces a unique dilemma – he’s fairer than all the maidens he works with! In this, he’s like Rishi Kapoor, who in his younger days always had to have his make-up done in such a way that he wouldn’t outshine his female stars.

In the recently released Aa Dekhen Zara, the star had to tone down his colour with loads of dark make-up so he would match the dusky Bipasha Basu’s complexion. The decision was made because it would have been harder to try and get Bips to look fairer by applying lighter foundation. In New York, which is slated for release this year, the make-up team made Mukesh darker by applying a fake tan. Again, this was done so he wouldn’t look fairer than Katrina Kaif on screen!

Though Aa Dekhen Zara is doing badly at the box office, Mukesh is looking forward to shooting Madhur Bhandarkar’s Jail.
